前回は日本の小銭の種類（１～５００円）とその模様や意味などを取り上げました
今回は、その小銭の使い方やちょっとしたマナーをお伝えしたいと思います(^▽^)/

【日本でよくみる習慣】
日本人には、お釣りを小銭でたくさんもらいたくないため、
レジでお金を出すときに、素早く頭で計算して小銭を出す人が多いです。
when it comes to paying money at cashier, a lot of Japanese people put out coins calculating very quickly. Just because they don't want to receive lots of change back in coin.
例えば、680円の場合は1080円で500円1枚のお釣りをもらおうとしたり、
256円の場合は、301円出せば、45円のお釣りになりますね。
300円出して44円ばらばらと枚数を受け取るより、少なくて済みます。
For example, when it's 680 yen, they pay 1080 yen to get a 500 yen coin back.
When it's 256 yen, if you pay 301 yen, you'll get 45 yen back for change.
It's less coin than you paying 300 yen and receiving so many 44 yen coins.
✤海外ではあまりない！？✤
～not happening in overseas?～
こんな出し方をするのは、海外ではあまり多くないみたいですね
現在私の住むここ、香港でもあまり見かけません。
The way to pay like this, is not much happening in oversea.
Hong Kong, where i live, i don't see it so often.
そのせいか、レジで125HKDと言われて、まず200ドル、そのあと25ドル出そうと探していると、あっという間にお札だけで会計されて、75ドルお釣りをもらうことも 最初はよくありました(笑)
Maybe because of that background, when the total was 125 HKD at cashier, I gave 200HKD first and was looking for other 25, but the cashier lady already took 200 in a second, then i got to receive 75. It often happened to me in early days. お財布が重くなってしまうんですね(;´∀｀)
今では小銭から先に出します。
and my wallet got so heavy.
So i pay coins first now. haha
✤後ろにあまり人が並んでない時だけね✤
～only when the time you don't see much people in line～
小銭で調整したいからと言って、レジが混んでいる中、細かいお金を出そうと
探すのに時間をかけるのはあまり良くないですね。
Even if you wanna adjust by coins, but it's not good taking a long time for looking for small coins when so many people at cashier.
後ろに並ぶ人の迷惑になってしまいます。
It's a trouble for other people behind in line.
✤お店の人はどう思うの？✤
～How shop staffs feel?～
小銭をじゃらじゃらと出すと、お店の人は迷惑かなぁというのがありますが
レジの状況によっては、100円が足りない、10円が減ってきたというのもあるので
逆に小銭でもらえて嬉しいこともあります。
You may be wondering if it bothers shop staff if you pay lots of coins.
Depends on the situation in cashier, they don't have enough 100 yen coins or are running out of 10 yen coins sometimes, so it's nice to receive coins in that case.
